1 package Key Lime seasoning
1/4 cup cornstarch
2/3 cup sugar
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups milk, warmed
3 egg yolks
2 Tbsp butter
1 9-inch graham cracker crust
1 cup whipped cream
Combine seasoning, cornstarch and salt in top of double boiler. Gradually
whisk in warm milk. Cook over simmering water, whisking constantly until mixture
thickens, about 10 minutes.
Lightly beat egg yolk in small bowl. Slowly add 1/4 cup hot milk mixture to
egg yolks. Mix well and pour egg yolk mixture back into the double boiler.
Cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool slightly. Add butter and
stir until butter has melted. Pour into pie shell and chill until set,
about 90 minutes. Top with whipped topping.
