1 pkg. White Bread/Muffin Quick Mix
1 - 9 ½" round cake pan
Grease pan
1/3 C. brown sugar
¼ C. flour
2 T. butter or margarine
Prepare Bread/Muffin Mix as directed and pour batter into sprayed cake pan. For
the topping: combine brown sugar and flour. Cut in butter until mixture resembles
course crumbs. Sprinkle over bread batter. Bake at 360° for 1 hour or until toothpick
comes out clean. Cool slightly before serving.
CARROT CAKE BREAD/MUFFINS RECIPE
1 - 18 oz. White Bread Mix Seasoning
12 oz. water or lemon-lime soda
2 ¼ c. grated carrots
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 tsp. ground cinnamon
½ tsp. ground nutmeg
¼ tsp. ground clove
Preheat oven to 360 degrees Fahrenheit. In a large bowl, combine White Bread Mix
Seasoning, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove. Mix well. Add water (or lemon-lime soda),
grated carrots, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix well. Spread into a greased 9" x
5" bread pan. Bake 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
For muffins: Pour into greased muffin pans (2/3 full). Bake 20-30 minutes or until
toothpick inserted comes out clean. For cake: Pour into a greased 8" X 8" pan. Bake
30-40 minutes or until toothpick inserted comes out clean. Cool before icing with
your favorite cream cheese frosting.
